Award Nomination - Outstanding Service

Purpose: To recognize an individual or group, either within or outside of the Association, who has provided exceptional service, effort, or achievement that furthers the mission and goals of the Association. This honor goes beyond regular responsibilities and acknowledges service that has made a meaningful difference.

Eligibility:

    • Nominees may be individuals or teams, including those outside the Association.
    • Contributions can occur over a defined period of service or be tied to a notable action, project, or accomplishment.

Criteria for Consideration: Nominees should demonstrate excellence in one or more of the following areas:

Significant Impact on the Association or Its Mission: The service or achievement contributed directly to advancing the goals of the Association or enhancing its programs.

Exceptional Commitment and Effort: Shows dedication and sustained effort that exceeds typical expectations or responsibilities.

One-Time Notable Contribution: Successfully led or executed a specific project or action that delivered measurable benefits or meaningful progress.

Advocacy and Representation: Served as a strong ambassador for the Association or promoted emergency management in a way that brought positive attention.

Collaboration and Leadership: Worked effectively with others, inspired action, or demonstrated leadership in accomplishing the service.

Selection Committee: KEMA Board and Awards Chair

Can be nominated by any regular or life KEMA member in good standing.

Submission Deadline

2025 award nominations for the activity period of August 2024-June 2025 must be submitted online by 5:00 pm on July 4, 2025.
