Wyandotte County Emergency Management has an opening for the Deputy Director/Planner position.
This position answers to the Director and is primarily responsible for acting on behalf of the Director in their absence as well as overseeing and managing the planning process with both internal and external stakeholders. This position develops, coordinates and maintains all planning related to emergency and disaster planning for the county as well as the development, coordination and maintenance of an overall county Continuity of Operations Planning (COOP) program.
This position no longer requires residency in Wyandotte County. Staff must be able to respond within one hour.
