INVITATION TO VENDORS

2009 KANSAS EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION CONFERENCE

September 16-18 2009                              Ramada Inn – Topeka, Kansas

The Kansas Emergency Management Association (KEMA) is a not for profit organization made up mostly of Emergency Managers and Emergency Professionals from the 105 Counties across the State of Kansas plus personnel from State, Federal and Volunteer agencies.  KEMA has 150 active members and in the last several years’ conference attendance has ranged from 120 to 150 attendees.

Many of the members of KEMA are in charge of purchasing various emergency equipment, tools, warning systems and other emergency related services for their jurisdictions.  New Federal Grant programs have made the local Emergency Manager the point of contact for an even greater number of emergency services purchase decisions. This is an opportunity for you to display your product or service to these individuals as well as interact with them and assist them in making informed purchase decisions.

For the past several years we have had a strong vendor response to our conference and we hope that you will continue to participate with us in 2009. Your presence as a vendor is a vital support for our organization and allows our members to keep current with the products available to assist them in their profession.  Vendor support has allowed us to utilize our resources to provide for high quality educational and training venues at our conference.

There will be several changes for you this year.  Please read the notes section on the contract page for the information.   A map of the hotel with planned exhibitor space is also included with the contract.  We look forward to seeing you this year in Topeka, Kansas as we provide our members an action and education packed conference experience.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Sincerely,

Mary Parrott
