KCEM Recertification

BIANNUAL RECERTIFICATION:

I.      Continue to meet the requirements of the KCEM program.

II.      Have completed at least 24 hours of EMI-sponsored and/or emergency management related home study or classroom training during the 24 months immediately preceding the anniversary date of initial certification or previous recertification.

III.      Have continued to conduct or be a major participant in a functional, tabletop or full-scale exercise each year since initial certification/previous recertification. Applicant must also submit a completed 95-44 formerly 95-16 exercise report form.

IV.      Any previously certified applicant who has failed to renew his/her certification within 12 months of the renewal date would be required to apply for and meet the requirements of initial certification. If initial certification is required, applicant should contact Janice Davidson - see KCEM Certification.
